Let’s make a sweet drink, from sour lemon!

Let’s make a sweet drink, from sour lemon!

It’s a small nice saying I got from a Dale Carnegie’s book (Postpone worrying and start living), It’s pretty nice, another one I was talking about with my friend yesterday was (If you don’t like something in life, change the way you think about it), I went :” what if everything was bad?!!” , my friend said “It’s ok we can make it somethings) , I don’t know if we could, lol, but it works for me, to a certain extent, I believe that most of the things in life aren’t of a certain type, good, bad, beautiful, or salty!!, I remember a story I read about a week ago, a small one .. don’t worry!!, There was this rich guy who lived in a huge palace with his wife and little son, he always noticed that his son didn’t appreciate that they were rich and thought that he should sense it and enjoy it, well, the dad took his son on a trip to the country willing to show him how poor people lived, they went into a farmer’s house who offered them a piece of bread and a cup of milk, made a little talk, showed them around his farm and wished them a happy trip wherever they’re going, so on the way back the father asked his son, “so, Son, what did you see at that farm?” his son went :” I saw that these people have fresh milk every morning while we have it out of carton boxes, how their kids have wide playgrounds while I have none, how their house has huge landscapes and our house has a few meters garden, how they have the freshest air that could be and we smell the smoke all the time, thank you dad, for showing me that we are poor …” the dad said nothing.
I don’t know if it makes any sense to you now, but as I see it, the father was convinced that those people were poor, he was rich, it’s just simple math to him, his son saw it from a complete different angle, only if one person could see both those angles about anything he is thinking about, this world would have been so much greater than it is now, or at least, that’s one idea I have!! ;) .
Best regards,
Mohammed H. Zaid Ali.
