Unknown To No One ...

Since when did you hear of an Iraqi band that sang a song in English and it was good!!, well, not just good, you can even put it in your playlist between (Incomplete) and (My heart will go on) without feeling any kind of a quality drop!, I think it's time for that to happen , UTN1 have done it!!

That’s the idea I have in my head now, UTN1 is one of the best English speaking bands I’ve ever heard, and could be the best, some will say that this could be unfair to BSB or BoyZone, but these guys if you still don’t know came from and grew in a place where the most brutal offences to humanity occurred during the whole human history, where voice was the single most dangerous banned gift, where life was a dream and still is to be shown the way it really is to rest of the world, and these guys are doing it in an exquisite way, the fantastic voices, the most sense swaying words with the most honest feelings, now I’m not willing to drift you with my words, I will let you decide if this was true or not, I won’t tell you their story too, because it would be a lot more beautiful when you hear the full version of it directly from them when they will be noticed by the whole world and I’m sure that it’s not that far away .. or (read it in their website!!! lol) just watch this video clip first and if you liked them, let’s wish them the best of all, ultimate success.
Note: I'm not used to put videos that play directly on my blogs so click this link and be dazzled by their awesome music video (While We Can)

And to find out more about them or contact them, go to their personal website

Let’s make a sweet drink, from sour lemon!

Let’s make a sweet drink, from sour lemon!

It’s a small nice saying I got from a Dale Carnegie’s book (Postpone worrying and start living), It’s pretty nice, another one I was talking about with my friend yesterday was (If you don’t like something in life, change the way you think about it), I went :” what if everything was bad?!!” , my friend said “It’s ok we can make it somethings) , I don’t know if we could, lol, but it works for me, to a certain extent, I believe that most of the things in life aren’t of a certain type, good, bad, beautiful, or salty!!, I remember a story I read about a week ago, a small one .. don’t worry!!, There was this rich guy who lived in a huge palace with his wife and little son, he always noticed that his son didn’t appreciate that they were rich and thought that he should sense it and enjoy it, well, the dad took his son on a trip to the country willing to show him how poor people lived, they went into a farmer’s house who offered them a piece of bread and a cup of milk, made a little talk, showed them around his farm and wished them a happy trip wherever they’re going, so on the way back the father asked his son, “so, Son, what did you see at that farm?” his son went :” I saw that these people have fresh milk every morning while we have it out of carton boxes, how their kids have wide playgrounds while I have none, how their house has huge landscapes and our house has a few meters garden, how they have the freshest air that could be and we smell the smoke all the time, thank you dad, for showing me that we are poor …” the dad said nothing.
I don’t know if it makes any sense to you now, but as I see it, the father was convinced that those people were poor, he was rich, it’s just simple math to him, his son saw it from a complete different angle, only if one person could see both those angles about anything he is thinking about, this world would have been so much greater than it is now, or at least, that’s one idea I have!! ;) .

Weird clock!!

Umm, I'm out of subjects today, I'm really into writing something but I don't know what, I check the time and!!, not a very interesting subject but I said what the hell!, let's share this with people, lol, I have this weird clock on my desk, I never look at it to check the time, I liked it in the shop and found it so ridiculous at home, and if I lift it over the table it just skips 3 hours, :D, well that's not the thing, I was thinking, what made someone think of making such a clock, I even take the battery out at night coz it has a disturbing click every one hour!!, let me tell you how it works, the tip of every leaf shaped part of the big grey circle has a number which refers to hours, so when the tip of the leaf numbered 2 refers to 2 O'clock, it's pointing a little before 45 so it's something like 42 43, lol , that's it, If anyone wants it I'll be more than happy to ship it to him, lol, ok see you later, hopefully with a more interesting subject!!
Greetings,

Rawshé Rock, The Rock of love or .. Death!

Rawshé Rock, The Rock of love or .. Death!

Let’s start with Rawshé, Beirut’s seaside, A place where you find everyone, all the time, 5A.M, people are wearing their sports wear trying to lose a few pounds, their poor dogs might think that it’s the end of time and everyone’s running for their lives!!, 11pm, I jumped here because it’s the earliest time I woke up when I was there!!, some people are still running!, some are waiting for a cab, by the way, cab drivers there are amazing, they could come into the shop, handcuff you, and go : “You need a cab sir?”, I think there’s too many cabs there that they started fighting over passengers who don’t even know what’s goin on! Who knows, at night, you find a lot of people just walking to have some fresh air, although there’s still some late runners who are trying to catch the marathon!!, Lovers also find Rawshé a nice place to walk and have their little sweet talks which could be great if those instant photo guys won’t bother them every two seconds!!, ok enough with the Rawshe, let’s talk about the rock …

I’m not intending to talk about what geologists said on it’s formation and this nonsense, when you stand in front of that rock, you’ll just go: “ where did that come from? Why here? Why shaped like this???” very big by the way, about a 100 meters from the shore 80 meters high, It’s called by two names that make it even more exiting, one is the Rock of love, that I said a part of because of the gathering of lovers in front of it everyday, the second name is scarier, the Rock of Death, see, the seaside (Rawshe) that lies in front of the rock, technically, the rock lies in front of it, is the highest one along the Mediterranean in Beirut, or that’s what I think, it’s also the most accessible by people, this made this place common for people who wanted to suicide … By common I don’t mean that it happens every day, but I guess it has happened more than once over history..

Another amazing thing about this rock, is that it appears beautiful in pictures, no matter where you’re standing, or who you were, a 10 years old kid with an old cell phone, or a professional photographer, just point and shoot, and you’ve got one hell of a poster!!

Life, How about a thought?

Simple ideas arise before us everyday, the ones that make us smile, the ones that make us sigh, and even the ones that make us freeze like dead trees, these ideas are life as a whole, they represent whatever we believe in, whatever we look forward to, and finally, whatever says that we are alive...

As any teacher begins to teach his students beginning with the youngest students, he starts to inform them with simple ideas, that become more complicated gradually, until they become very complicated to be understood unless they are seeked from the very beginning, this way, we learn throughout life...

Life, starts with the human from the very first moment he’s born, teaching him that the air he breaths is indispensable and this is before he learns to say any letter in any language, this way we know that life is the first teacher we get, moreover, the first who can tell us..

Is there a teacher who can teach everyone on earth at the same time? is there a teacher who knows about everything and everyone on earth?, and finally asking, is there a teacher who can speak each and every language that has been known? How about saying, this is life...

I don’t know if this makes any sense, it’s just an idea I had, I felt like proving it, I don’t even know if I did, let’s just leave it this way, and try to learn a few things from life, honestly, let's do that…

All the best,
Mohammed H. Ali.
